I’m Jean-François Gagné, but everybody calls me Jeff.
I’m an Associate World Director. I started my career at Ubisoft Quebec in November 2005 as a video game tester. In October 2006 I became a Level Designer and that’s what I’m doing as a day job since. Time flies!
I started making maps using Warcraft 2 and Heroes of Might & Magic 2 editors.
I always loved creating worlds.
Even when I was a Dungeon Master I was creating worlds to be played in by my players and I’m still doing that.
As a Designer I focus on flow, pacing and consistency.
As a Lead I focus on quality feedback, mentoring and asking about the « why ».
As a Manager I focus on team growth, team building and driving production forward.
